Hire America's Heroes engages major corporations in activities that educate, promote and facilitate efforts by their corporate peers to attract transitioning service members, veterans, and military family members to the corporate workforce.

These activities include meetings, events and symposia designed to recognize those best-practice processes and success strategies which other corporations have found effective.

Once familiar with Hire America's Heroes mission and programs, a corporation may be interested in furthering their involvement by becoming a Hire America's Heroes sponsor.

Hire America's Heroes sponsors take an active role in the operations of the organization including financial support, committee involvement, and participation on the Board of Directors.

Become A Sponsor

Hire America's Heroes welcomes interested corporations to sponsor at one of the following levels:

  • Four-Star Sponsor - $10,000 annual contribution

    Complimentary corporate attendance at Hire America's Heroes-sponsored events

    Complimentary corporate booth or table at Hire America's Heroes-sponsored job fairs and networking events

    Assistance in setting up corporate tours for transitioning service members

    Assistance in developing internship programs for recently separated veterans

    Assistance in developing mentorship programs for newly hired veterans

    Assistance in converting corporate position descriptions into military nomenclature, making jobs both understandable and accessible to exiting service members

    Facilitate introductions between military flag officers and the Sponsor's corporate officers

    Hire America's Heroes Committee membership (leading to Board membership)

    Education and training sessions on best practices for sourcing, recruiting, hiring, on-boarding, supporting, and retaining military veterans in the corporate workforce

    Invitation to Hire America's Heroes' Annual Meeting

    Company name and logo on Hire America's Heroes' Web site, brochure, and marketing materials

  • Three-Star Sponsor - $7,500 annual contribution

    Complimentary corporate attendance at Hire America's Heroes-sponsored events

Application to Become a Sponsor

Committees

Sponsor corporations may become eligible for Board of Director membership by participation in Hire America's Heroes committees.

The permanent committees are:

  • Membership Committee: Accepts and reviews applications for membership and makes recommendations to the Board of Directors for decision.
  • Program Committee: Provides support to the Symposia by developing presentations, marketing events, and providing logistics support.

Additional committees may be formed by sponsors within the structure of Hire America's Heroes in order to collaborate on implementation strategies, to track successful placement of exiting service members, and to share resources that facilitate recruiting, hiring, on-boarding and retention of veterans.

Commitment

Hire America's Heroes' sponsors are expected to adhere to the following basic commitments:

  • Develop and maintain a corporate commitment to recruiting, hiring, supporting, and retaining military veteran employees and their family members.
  • Actively participate in at least one Hire America's Heroes committee.
  • Provide Hire America's Heroes with sponsor corporations' veteran-hiring and retention metrics on an annual basis. (NOTE: The data is used to report year-over-year percentage improvements of member companies as a group; no veteran employee is listed by name and no company's metrics are listed singly.)
  • Promote Hire America's Heroes in association with their own veterans' initiatives by correct use of the Hire America's Heroes logo, consistent with guidelines presented in the Hire America's Heroes Brand Manual.
  • Assure adherence to the standards presented in the branding guidelines and protection of the good name and positive reputation of Hire America's Heroes.
  • Willingness to provide both a time commitment and financial support for optional activities available at the corporation's chosen Sponsorship Level.
